Fridah lives in Nairobi with two children, one of whom – Blessing – has albinism. Fridah is currently unemployed but sells goods to support her family. She was one of twenty members of the Albinism Society of Kenya (ASK) who received embroidery training in the summer of 2021 to make stories for the Kenyan Albinism Quilts. Fridah’s story showed a husband angrily confronting his wife because their child has albinism. Fridah is grateful for the chance to work with other mothers and hopes that her embroidery will attract customers.
