Dorcas, 22, lives with her sister in the neighborhood of Waterfalls, Zimbabwe. Her mother died when she was ten, leaving Dorcas and her six siblings to support themselves. Dorcas has been active from the start in the program by Women Advocacy project to empower girls through story-telling and selling soap. She is one of just four girls who make Clean Girl soap and together they have produced an impressive 16,000 bottles so far in 2022. Dorcas is relatively new to embroidery and first attended a training in July 2022. But she loved learning a new skill with the other girls and says the time passed too quickly! Dorcas is currently studying for A-levels and hopes to become a chef.
